Police Seek Man Involved in Stabbing at a Queens Deli

The police are looking for a man who walked into a deli in Rego Park, Queens, on Sunday, stabbed another man five times in the buttocks and walked calmly back out.

The assault, which was captured on a security video (see above or click to watch) released by the police Monday night, occurred Sunday around 5:45 p.m. at the International Deli at 99-08 63rd Road.

The assailant - black, in his 30s, and standing about 6 feet 2 inches and weighing about 220 pounds, followed the other man into the deli, the police said, and stabbed him with what looks like a box-cutter. The victim is in stable condition, the police said.
