Kids Draw the News: Tornadoes in New York

New Assignment

Two tornadoes struck New York City on Saturday. They tore down walls, lifted off roofs and cut power lines in neighborhoods near the beach in Brooklyn and Queens. No one was hurt, but tornadoes are rare in New York and people were both surprised and frightened.
